The WLVS boys' Basketball team had an impressive season, finishing with a record of

18-12. They made a strong run in the state tournament, reaching the quarter finals before facing our cross town rival Robertson High School. The game was intense, filled with competitive energy, including some trash talking and physical play, which led to an ejection in the last quarter of the game. Ultimately the Dons went on to lose the game 55-45. Despite the setback, the team's effort throughout the season was commendable. The staff that led the team were head coach Ryan Aragon and his amazing assistant coaches Joseph Nieto, Tim Sena, and Ambrosio Castellano. Even though they lost in the quarter-finals, a strong starting line up of dedicated players took them all the way to 4th in the district. During the season Devaughn Kensey stood out as a key player for the team with an impressive 610 points throughout the whole season.
