Art is an absorbing class at West Las Vegas High School. Teacher Mckaila Dorman teaches 5 art classes: Intermediate Art, Drawing, Painting, 3D Design, Expression Art. She is always trying to help in any way she can and encourages students to work together, and inspires students to think creatively. You can make anything in this engaging art class as long as you can imagine it.
Makaila Dorman is the art teacher here at West Las Vegas High School she started working here 10 years ago in august 2013 - 2024 she came to Las Vegas on a soccer scholarships at highlands. Her parents were both artist so she grow up around art she got her degree in fine arts sculpture and ceramics then got her teachers listens after and became a teacher here at West Las Vegas High School.

The most challenging thing thing for me as a teacher to do or teach is interacting with the students and getting them to participate or pay attention in class.

All you need to pass is to show up and participate and even if its not the best just try.
